First non-engineering hire. You run the room before we run the funnel: Prelude Dinners, founder gatherings, partner programs, and the SF and NY calendar that brings the right people into Channl's orbit.
What you will own
- Prelude Dinners and the broader event calendar across SF, NY, and selective fly-ins.
- Founder, GTM, and partner gatherings that compound month over month.
- The community Slack, attendee follow-up, and the relationship graph behind every program.
- Pre-event narrative, on-site experience, and post-event signal capture into the CRM.
What we are looking for
- Four or more years running founder, investor, or operator communities. Receipts in the form of recurring programs.
- Outstanding writing and curation. You can tell who belongs in the room.
- Comfort with logistics, vendors, and budgets at startup speed.
- Energy for in-person work three to four nights a week during program windows.
Nice to have
- Prior life inside a high-velocity B2B startup, a VC platform team, or a notable salon series.
- Existing operator network in SF or NY.
- Light data fluency: pulling RSVPs, tracking attendance cohorts, post-event NPS.
