Founding Engineer
Senior generalist who owns the ingestion layer, entity resolution, and the read paths powering the world model. You will set the bar for what the rest of engineering looks like.
What you will own
- The ingestion layer reading a broad mix of public sources on a continuous schedule.
- Entity resolution across many identifier systems and corporate-family edges.
- The read paths and scoring layer behind the graph and customer integrations.
- Production observability, rate limits, and the on-call rotation, alongside the rest of the team.
What we are looking for
- Six or more years shipping production backend systems at meaningful scale.
- Comfort across the stack: Postgres, TypeScript or Go, queues, schedulers, vector and graph primitives.
- Track record of owning a system from blank page to load, not just inheriting one.
- A clear bias for primary sources and citable claims over vibes.
Nice to have
- Built data products with provenance or audit guarantees before.
- Experience with Supabase, pgvector, or graph databases.
- Prior founding or early-stage role at a data-heavy company.
